House is Rented

Another cool night here.  It was 56 when we got up this morning.  The cool weather gives Baxter a lot of energy and he’s flying around like a crazy cat.  He was on the back of the captains chair chasing his tail when he saw a foot (his own). He was a little distracted I think, because he bit his own foot!  Crazy boy.

Good news.

We have a new tentant for our rental house.  She is a friend of a friend, but we still had our property management company run a credit check.  She is a divorced mom with two pre-teen honor student kids.  She seems very nice and I think will take good care of our house.

The new refrigerator and stove were delivered yesterday.  They look so much nicer than the old gold ones! 

The carpet cleaners also came yesterday and got all the stains and dirt out.  I was impressed with what a good job they did.

We have some more work to do in the yard so are heading over there today.  I was sure hoping to be done with raking and tree trimming, but I guess not.

So, we’ll be able to leave town tomorrow knowing the house is taken care of!
