Hitch Itch

Wesley Chapel, Florida

We’ve been busy since we arrived back in Florida, but haven’t done anything fun or blog worthy, but we may go kayaking tomorrow.

Al has been doing some of his pest control accounts and I’ve been puttering around home.  I have been cleaning and trying to re-organize cabinets to give me more space.  We love this coach, but I sure miss my big old pantry I had in the 32 footer.

I finally forced myself to make some long overdue doctor appointments.  I am the worlds worst about seeing doctors.  I even got the ball rolling for my first colonoscopy.   Can’t wait for that!

We’ve been getting a slight case of hitch-itch, and have been thinking of taking a short trip to the Keys next month.   Hurricane season doesn’t end until the end of November, so we might be wise to wait a little longer as there is a possible disturbance forming south of Cuba.

I have been going through some old pictures and it’s reminding me of how much fun we had in the Keys.

Yeah, I think we’re ready to go back.

  1. Lots of busy days with really nothing to blog about in our world also. You are in for such a treat when you have your colonoscopy. Yeah right! But since it's an evil necessity, we do it. Hope you get down to the keys shortly and take care of that itch.

  2. That header photo is making me homesick for warm beautiful weather. It has been pretty here in Ohio but we are ready to hit the road...just need a truck and we are off.

  3. The header photo is beautiful. Great lighting. Are you Good Sam members? We are going to the Daytona rally November 2. Not sure why, but it is free for us.

  4. I agree about the header picture - just perfect. I had my first colonoscopy this year - wasn't that bad, but the prep was no fun. I had a cut lemon handy and I would take a big gulp of stuff and then lick the lemon. It helped, believe it or not!

  5. I've decided that when my doctor gets the pill for prep rather than the drink it stuff, then I'll do the colonoscopy. Paul Dahl's description convinced me. :-)

Me too about the header photo! Fabulous!! Can't blame you for wanting to get back to those Keys. I'd like to just get there in the first palce. LOL

  6. know what you mean about hitch itch. I know we have been on the go but we are looking forward to getting back to our beloved motorhome. By the time we are back to Sherman it will have been almost 6 months since we have been away. Seems like such a long time.

  7. It seems that cabinet reorginization is a job that never ends, Judy has been doing the same thing. She also makes sure I take my meds and makes all my DR appointments happen, I am a lucky man. She keeps telling me that.

  8. We are heading to the keys the first two weeks of January. After seeing your photos, I'm getting hitch itch to leave Elkhart. But shhhhhh, don't tell Eldy. :-)
