We're up early this morning to get an early start on our weekly garage sale.
It's the first of the month so we're hoping people will have money and spend it. We have put up some signs in different areas to hopefully attract more and different people. The weather is beautiful so it should be a nice day for a garage sale.
I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my new Droid x phone. I am not the most patient person thought and when I get something, I want it yesterday. I odered it Wednesday afternoon, and it was supposed to be delivered in 2 days, so you'd think I would have had it by Friday, right? Wrong, according to Fed Ex tracking it will be here Monday. It sat at the Fed Ex facility in Memphis for over 24 hours! Boy, that frustrated me! They finally shipped it out and it went right past my house (sort of) and then south to Tallahassee! I guess I have no choice but to wait until Monday.
Tomorrow we may take the day off and take a drive somewhere fun. The Goldenrod are starting to bloom and are very pretty growing wild everywhere. They seem to be the attraction for the Monarch butterflies that gather by the coast in preparation for their annual migration south. They have an annual Monarch Festival at St Marks National Wildlife Refuge and we have missed it every year. Hopefully, we'll get there this year. We know for sure we'll have to make it to St Marks in November, because Al will be eligible for his $10 senior pass that will get him in all National parks for free and give a 50% discount off camping too! That's what I'm buying him for his birthday :)
Our life and travels, from fulltime Rv living, to a new home in the North Georgia Mountains, our other "home" in the Florida Keys, and traveling in our new mini RV.

Surprise House Showing (#3)
We got back home from lunch yesterday, and had a phone message from our Realtor saying another Realtor wanted to "drive by." I took that to mean they just wanted to look at the property, but we neatened up things anyway and it was a good thing we did. A few minutes later a car drove up with the Realtor and two ladies. She apologized and wondered if we could show the house. It seems she didn't realize our property was in their price range. No problem...come on in!
We showed them around the property but I really don't think this older lady could handle this much property...Al and I barely can ourselves. She is moving from Atlanta and wanted to live in the country, but didn't realize we had Foxes, or Armadillos. She asked if we had bears? No. I don't think she had a clue what was involved to maintain this much land. I think it was more of an afternoon drive in the country and wasted the Realtors time as well as ours. She liked the house and property real well though. Oh well, at least now another Realtor has seen our place!
