Back at Doctor’s Office

One of my favorite things is sitting and waiting at a doctors office or hospital…..so you can guess how much fun I’m having now!

Al got in to see the cardiologist office yesterday. The nurse compared his EKG to an old one.  She didn’t think there was anything to worry about, but thought it would be a good idea to get a  nuclear stress test,  just to be on the safe side.  I was going to suggest it, if she didn’t, so I was happy.

They scheduled the test for this morning at 7 am, so here I sit……waiting.  The good news, is they have free wifi and I brought my laptop, knowing I’d be waiting a few hours.

We were very pleased that we:

1. got a cardiologist appointment so quickly.

2.  got the nuclear stress test so quickly.

No sense messing around with the heart.  We should have the results before we leave the office.

Hopefully, we’ll get good news and he can  go home and start treating his sinus infection.

  1. You are right when it comes to the heart, better to ensure all is well and head off any chance of a potential problem. Keeping fingers crossed that all will turn out fine.

  7. I bet Florida is like Arizona - it's much easier to get all the doctor appointments because so many of the snowbirds are gone. Be sure to let us know as soon as you hear something.

  10. I think getting a bit of a heart scare like that would clear my sinuses pretty quickly. Here's hoping Al aces the stress test!

  11. Wait until after the test and they give Al a card saying he's radioactive - that's so if he sets off alarms in the security at the airport he won't be subjected to a body search! Really, though, your news sounds very positive.

  13. That sounds like good news, but I hope you got confirmation that everything is all right. Sure does make a crummy sinus infection seem like small potatoes, doesn't it? Looking forward to your next post. :)

  14. Good that you and Al were not too far off the grid. That made it easier to get Al checked out.

  16. Glad he got in right away. I had one done, piece of cake. Just the waiting around for the stuff to take effect for the second time in the tube takes a while. The walking part was easy, just funny to have a machine to walk on uphill. I have never even been on a treadmill, so it was kinda fun!
