We slept well (and cool) last night. We were able to turn off the a/c and sleep with the windows open.
When we woke up this morning, the gulf was flat calm with very little breeze, so we decided to take a morning kayak paddle. The water is pretty clear and with no wave action you can see the bottom easily (Al thinks if he can see the fish, he may be able to catch one )
Al saw a few dolphins swimming around this morning, which is unusual because the water is so shallow. It’s high tide now, so I guess they were able to get in closer.
Here are a few sunset photos from last night.
We took 7pm kayak paddle last night before the sun set. The water was very warm, and it was wonderful, paddling around with the paddles splashing warm water on my legs! We hadn’t paddled in warm water for a while and it was a nice change.
We came back, cooked some burgers on the grill and I fried some of our Yukon Gold potatoes that I had brought for our garden. Yummy.
I’ll post some photos of the morning kayak trip later.
